Description

 

The Linear Empty Plastic Bottle Leak Tester is a highly flexible and efficient solution designed to ensure the integrity of various plastic packaging containers on high-speed production lines. It supports a wide range of container types and sizes—including standard water bottles, dairy containers like milk bottles, jerrycans, and other plastic units—by delivering accurate, non-destructive leak detection for preselected items prior to quality inspection.

The system operates through a fully automated process. After each leak test, it intelligently separates containers based on the results. Products that meet the required standards are smoothly directed to the next production stage. Conversely, any container that fails the airtightness check immediately triggers a workstation-specific alert. The system then automatically removes these defective units from the line, ensuring a reliable physical separation between acceptable and non-conforming products. This mechanism not only prevents cross-contamination within production batches but also ensures that only intact, leak-proof containers move forward to filling or shipping. As a result, the process significantly enhances overall quality control, reduces material waste, and contributes to a cleaner, safer working environment.

 

Machine Advantage

  • Adopting the latest detection system imported from the United States, each workstation is equipped with a dual independent leak detection system. This system features high precision and strong reliability, with an accuracy of up to 0.1mm—fully meeting the strict leak-proof requirements of PP bottles. PP bottles (Polypropylene bottles) are widely used in the packaging of food, pharmaceuticals, daily chemicals, and baby products; typical applications include holding yogurt, honey, oral liquid, facial cleanser, and baby milk powder. Many of these contents—whether acidic dairy products, viscous condiments, sterile pharmaceutical liquids, or skin-friendly daily chemical products—have specific physical and chemical properties that place high demands on the leak-proof performance of PP bottles. Most PP bottles have excellent heat resistance, good toughness, and sealed caps; their leak-proof performance directly affects product quality—leakage will not only cause waste of contents but also lead to content deterioration, residue at the bottle mouth, or external contamination, affecting user experience and even endangering the safety of consumers.
  • Storage function: The system can store 6 sets of PP bottle detection parameters (customizable memory), record the total number of PP bottle detections, the number of leaky PP bottles, and set the total detection quantity. When the machine completes the detection of the set number of PP bottles, it will automatically stop the leak detection process. This ensures standardized, traceable, and efficient inspection of batch PP bottles—in line with the food, pharmaceutical, daily chemical, and baby product industries’ strict standards for food/pharmaceutical contact packaging safety, sterility, hygiene, and batch quality consistency.
  • Stability testing: The equipment adopts German Siemens PLC control, American Motorola detection board, and FESTO solenoid valve control. Its industry-recognized leading stability can reach over 100,000 hours, providing long-term and stable leak detection support for PP bottle production lines. For these lines, continuous and reliable equipment operation is crucial: it avoids production interruptions that delay the supply of PP bottles, and prevents unqualified leaky bottles from entering the market—thus complying with relevant safety regulations for packaging materials, reducing after-sales disputes caused by leakage, and safeguarding the brand image of enterprises that use PP bottles for product packaging.
