Description

 

The Linear Empty Plastic Bottle Leak Tester is a flexible and high-efficiency tool that secures the integrity of various plastic packaging containers. Designed for mass-production lines, it can handle containers of diverse shapes and capacities, such as standard water bottles, dairy containers (milk bottles), jerrycans and other plastic containers. It conducts accurate, non-destructive airtightness checks on containers that meet preset standards and are waiting for quality inspection.

The testing process is fully automatic. After leak detection, the system smartly sorts the output according to test results. Qualified products move smoothly to the next step. Importantly, any unit that fails the airtightness test will immediately trigger an alarm at the relevant workstation. What's more, the system automatically removes these unqualified bottles from the production flow. This automatic rejection function ensures strict physical separation between qualified and defective containers, avoids cross-contamination of product batches, and ensures that only leak-free containers proceed to filling or shipping. This process greatly improves production quality control, reduces waste and safeguards operator safety.

 

Machine Advantage

 

  • Adopting the latest detection system imported from the United States, each workstation is equipped with a dual independent leak detection system. This system features high precision and strong reliability, with an accuracy of up to 0.1mm—fully meeting the strict leak-proof requirements of beverage bottle (which are widely used to hold carbonated drinks, fruit juices, mineral water, etc., daily consumer products with characteristics like carbonation or acidity. Most beverage bottles are made of lightweight PET material, with narrow necks and twist-off caps or pull-tabs; the seal between the cap and bottle neck, as well as the bottle body seams, are key leak points—leakage will not only cause beverage spillage and waste, but also lead to loss of carbonation (for carbonated drinks) or bacterial contamination, affecting product taste and consumer health).
  • Storage function: The system can store 6 sets of beverage bottle detection parameters (customizable memory), record the total number of beverage bottle detections, the number of leaky beverage bottles, and set the total detection quantity. When the machine completes the detection of the set number of beverage bottles, it will automatically stop the leak detection process. This ensures standardized, efficient, and targeted inspection of batch beverage bottles—in line with the beverage industry’s needs for adapting to diverse product specifications (such as 330ml small cans, 500ml standard bottles, and 2L family-sized bottles) while maintaining strict packaging quality control.
  • Stability testing: The equipment adopts German Siemens PLC control, American Motorola detection board, and FESTO solenoid valve control. Its industry-recognized leading stability can reach over 100,000 hours, providing long-term and stable leak detection support for beverage bottle production lines. For these lines, continuous and reliable equipment operation is crucial: it avoids production interruptions that delay the supply of beverages, and prevents unqualified leaky bottles from entering the market—thus reducing after-sales complaints caused by seal failure of beverage packaging and safeguarding the brand reputation of beverage enterprises.
